"(In Texas,) people have to provide a picture ID when they vote in order to prove they are who they say they are. This is supposed to prevent voter fraud. Opponents say the law suppresses the voting rights of minorities, young voters and the elderly because people in these groups are less likely to carry an official picture ID. But there are exceptions to the rule: student ID's are not approved for the purpose of voting, but concealed hand-gun licenses are. And folks more than 70 years of age are exempt from having to prove their identity when they vote. Curiously, gun owners and people over 70 are more likely to vote for a Republican candidate. WI is trying to pass a voter ID bill similar to the standards set in Texas thanks to Walker and his lap dogs. I honestly don’t know how this is even allowed.

I accept my privilege to receive the right to vote.  I say SUCK A DICK TEXAS for continuing this method of representation!
